Seems like you are getting all the hotties, well done well done. Props to laura, props. Well ill update people on my joyous weekend. Friday nite we all stayed in and had a drinking contest with the lovely ladies on the floor, needless to say, we won. After finishing that we decided to play some 3 in the morning drunk hockey with no lights outside. Domination was on my side, eventhough i nearly killed myself a few times. Saturday nite we stayed in again and drank, played over 4 hours of beer pong and had a little incident with the fire extinguisher. Today we played a good amount of hockey, where again, i could not be stopped. All and all it was a good weekend, hope everyones was as well
Bad Boys, Bad Boys
Oh shoot I forgot. The party Cory and I went to got busted. NO one got in trouble, but the band was loud and there were complaints. When the cops came, things were winding down so they let us be. Later, some people were outside playing kickball, and a cop drove by and got on his loudspeaker saying:

Needless to say, it was funny as hell for me cuz I was sober, and inside... but I'm sure the drunks outside got quite a scare, and a laugh also. Ask Cory.

Stuck on Third, and a wierd coincidence
SATURDAY- I had a meeting at work. I went to eat at Golden Corral with the parents. Then Cory came over and I drove to a party at the house of some people Cory knows. WIERD thing--- the people who live there... Cory Dack, a good friend of Alison's, and Erin McCann, another good friend of Alison's. Come to find out, Alex and Kate are supposed to come out, and Ben Harris. Well Kate didn't come, she had papers to write, but Alex and Ben did. Also- Bill Brooks and Chad Stutz came. Some chick kept hitting on Chad and I think they did it, out in her car. Whoa. It was nice to see Bill and to meet all of Cory's friends that were there. And the band that played, Stuck on Third, was not too shabby either.
I CAN get a hot guy to go on a date with me.
On Friday, I had a date!! Woohoo, go me. I donno if you all remember my friend David, -AKA- hot guy upstairs. Well, I had a huge thing for him at the beginning of the year when I started to date Ryan. But since Ryan showed more interest, even though David and I talked a lot more and all that, I went for Ryan. I don't regret that, things just happen- lets face it. Well anyways- not long after Ryan and I broke up, I had called David to ask him to a movie (and now you see how much I have changed. I can now meet a hot guy and ask him on a date, or maybe I'm just comfortable with David, who knows?) Anyways, he said he would go if he got done with a good lot of his homework. He called me that day to tell me that he still had a lot of stuff to do, so he would have to take a raincheck. So I'm thinking, "okay, this guy I've liked is exactly like Ryan- he doesn't want to go, and he's blowing me off, in what he thinks is the nicest way possible." I decided to not worry about it though and just not care if I saw him again before the year's over...we never talk much anymore anyways. SO- I never make long stories short but here's the end. He called me Friday evening saying that he remembered that he owed me a movie and would like to take me out if that was ok with me. I said yes, duh. We went to go see the Punisher. Good movie I thought. I wasn't sure if it was a date or just a friends thing, but then he paid for me and opened my doors and stuff, what a stud. He's so nice. We had a good time I think, but nothing will happen because I think maybe we get along so well, we are better friends right now. It amazes me that I said that, judging by how I felt at the beginning of the year, but thats really all I want from anyone right now I think. Also, I kind of have this thing where I know its pointless to get excited or try to start anything with someone from SIUE. After all, he lives about 45 minutes from EIU, I live 30 minutes from SIUE, so in the summer he'll be there and I'll be here- and in the fall we'll switch places pretty much.

Dark Side of the Rainbow
Tonight, Emily, Steve and I went to the Science Building at 9:00 to attend "Dark Side of the Rainbow." The AKLs sponsored a showing of the Wizard of Oz with Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon playing in the background. It was trippy for sure. Kind of eerie even. But enjoyable. And now I think I have learned to appreciate the album a little bit more, and I'm proud to say I no longer hate Pink Floyd. They're not shabby. A lil wierd, not shabby. Thinkin of u Diane, your fave movie :)

I'm bout it bout it
Well my weekend was spent chillin at the apt and the bars on friday. Then b/c i am such a loyal and awesome friend, i drove to my house picked up my prom dress and drove down to c-dale to go to nik's formal. After that we went to the bars and i almost got in a fight with a guy that nik wrote up the night before b/c he was drinking in his room. I got in the guys face and as much as i tried to fight him he wanted to fight nik so finally we just walked off b/c i didn't want nik to get his butt kicked b/c i wanted to fight the guy. I went back home on sunday and stayed the night and now i am back in macomb...yawn.

The weekend is almost over......
Well my weekend was spent working in my yard....but during the night I went mini golfing w/steve and lala Friday night. Then saturday night we all went and watched local bands play at the red spoon. Overall my weekend was pretty kick ass,,,despite the leg and back pain from all the labor... Newho,,we cleared more area for the patio, ie dug up a sh*t ton of rocks. I planted a bunch of bushes in the front and re-planted tulips around a tree in the back. Steve planted flowers in the flower box on the side of the garage. And the BEST PART yet, would be ~ We bought the swimming pool...which is actually filling up in the back yard right now :) .... YAY!!!! So we got a ton of stuff done this weekend,,,except for the 30 annotations i have to write for tues,,,and my 7 one-page papers too......oh well that is what mondays are for....

Hey guys whats going on? Sorry I haven't written anything in a while, but I've been really busy with school and work. I hate when teachers always try to throw everything at you towards the end of the semester...it should be illegal!! Anyways, kind of like a way to get rid of stress and look forward to the quickly approaching summer, steve and I have started a back yard project.... We are building a really nice patio with a fire pit, and hopefully a pool l8ter on here. We are digging up all kinds of crzy stones in the backyard. We are also moving dirt and crap around to start laying the sand, stones, and white rock. If anyone is interested in helping let me know...it would be really nice...and the sooner it gets done,,the sooner we can start on getting a pool......hint..hint....which will all in turn give us all something to do and a cool place to hang out over the summer....

The Whole Shabang bang...
Ok, so I am one of the proud member of the broken lizard fan site. One of the perks is meeting other fans by sending messages to them and such. Well, I check my messages today and it said..."how are u doing a/s/l i'am 20/m/Il" so i go to this person's profile and its none other than Keelan Gillian!!! Now he has to know its me b/c my pic is on my profile along with Laura and Cory's pic, and in Laura and Cory's pictures they have the following people...Jen, Big Al, and Nik so he has to know who i am, right? I mean there is a cluster of people from a.h.s.
Over my Easter weekend I did the same thing Laura did Friday and Saturday. Also on sat. I decided to go tanning for the first time in a year. Well the first place I went would only let me go for 10 mins. I decided it wasn't sufficiant enough so I went to another tanning place and tanned for 20 mins. All together...a woping 30 mins. Needless to say, my ass and chest was fire engine red and I could barely move or sleep. So I didn't do anything for easter and I couldn't return back to Western until Monday.

Easter weekend wrap-up.
Friday. Went to a little party @ Adam's (a friend of Cory's). Saturday. Went to strip club with Diane, Jen, Emily, and Katie. Sunday. Church, and Grandma's for Easter dinner.

Ashley and I would sit in the room on a rainy day, checking out HotOrNot, which, I may add, is where she met her current boyfriend, hot christian guy.
At night, I'd come back from the 2nd floor (Jen and Kate's room) and lay down and listen to Norah as we went to sleep. How many roommates like to listen to music when they fall asleep?? Speaking of... I need to see how she's doing.

You think you escaped the mighty wrath of the fish trees when you graduated Alton High didn't you? Well, if you go to SIUE, you know how wrong you were.
Last Friday, as I walked away from Dunham Hall towards the Cougar Shuttle stop, I don't remember any nauseating scents hanging in the air. I also don't remember white trees everywhere. But in one weekend, they have overpowered the Quad. Pretty, yes. Smelly - HELL YES. It's mother nature's version of "that time of the month." I guess.
I realized that the fish trees were following me last year, and although I can't wait for the coming of spring, flowers, and warm weather so I can wear skirts instead of swishy pants--- I dread the smell.
TO ALL OF SOUTHERN IL: Why don't you try out those pretty pink trees for once???

Ahhhh relaxing Saturdays....
It's nice not to have to work on a Saturday for once. Ahhh..... I woke up at 12:30, made some french toast (I burned it really, and the smell still hasnt gone away completely and its 3:30). The AKL boys (AKA Jen's BF) called to see if I would like to join them out on their porch for some hot dogs on this wonderful spring day we're having (75 degrees), but since I just ate, I sat down to do some homework.
I am home alone, and usually I might be lonely, but I am not really. I get to relax and do whatever I want, and no one is here to give me shit about it. And now I'm taking a break from homework to type this on the blog, and talk to some people. In a bit here, I need to get off my butt and go study for Math and do math homework, cuz tomorrow I have to work on Mythology. (It's not all relaxation folks.....)
Anyways, to those of you that came last night, that was really fun. I'm sorry we didn't get to go to Wild Country, or out at all for that matter. But don't think for a minute that u would have seen a naked half-butt pressed up against my window had we not stayed in. Ewww I can see the butt print. Well, everything seemed to be going wonderfully.... I told my parents about goin away and they seemed thrilled... My dad, that very night, hopped on the computer to investigate different schools. My dad always told me that I could go anywhere I wanted for college, no matter the price, as long as it was a school of my potential.
Well, tonight was the second discussion for school. And now, everything has changed. Come to find out i'm just a fu**ing dumbass who just wastes money, and who is going after a bull**it career. So, therefor, I am not going to any school, but SIUE, cuz any dumb ass can get my degree from a barn, and every idiot can get into the DEA and ATF. Well you know what ladies and gents... You are looking at one dumb mofo that will do whatever it takes to become that idoit, So if someone could please point me in the direction of the financial aid department that would be greatly appreciated. :) I'm tired of being put down by my parents my entire life, because I don't live the same life they do, or do the things they want me to do. I have MY OWN DREAMS PEOPLE!
If it takes me 10 more years of school and jobs to find out what I want to do, then dammit thats what I'm going to do.... Am I so wrong to try to do something that I want to do??? Am I so wrong to work my ass off for my OWN dreams for 10 years with the ATF or DEA to get to where I want to be? What ever happened to pushing you kids towards these goals?? And where did all of this putting your kids down their entire lives come from? Thats all I have to say!

I have MY OWN DREAMS PEOPLE!
If it takes me 10 more years of school and jobs to find out what I want to do, then dammit thats what I'm going to do.... Am I so wrong to try to do something that I want to do??? Am I so wrong to work my ass off for my OWN dreams for 10 years with the ATF or DEA to get to where I want to be? What ever happened to pushing you kids towards these goals?? And where did all of this putting your kids down their entire lives come from? Thats all I have to say!

When one door closes another one opens
Hey guys! Sorry I haven't posted. I've been stressing about whether or not to stay at Western next year. Its been hard but I think I'm heading to Texas. I've learned that a 4 year university isn't for me. The only thing that is still holding me here is Jake and I can't afford staying here wasting money and not know what the hell I want to do with my life. As of now, I'm going back to my first career choice...massage therapy. There is a really good school in Texas that is one of the best in the US. The program is only 3-8 months long. Depending on what you take. So I am going to look in the 3 month program which is a summer program. If I like what I see then I will only be gone a summer, maybe a little longer but we'll see. As hard is it is going to be to leave, right now this is the best option for me.

Hey people I see no one has posted in while..... you know, but I haven't either so I'm not going to get on you people for something I am guilty for myself.

If anybody is interested in going up to Jerseyville with me that night, then you guys are more than welcome to come. I had lots of fun last year, and I called people to come and no one did. I suppose they all thought it was going to be a boring cancer benefit, but it's not.
There were games, and walking, and food, and even a drag queen beauty contest all to make money for the American Cancer Society.
Pay no attention to the cost of team participation. It didn't cost ME anything last year... except whatever food I bought, which was very reasonable. We would just be going to have fun, and we can participate WITH the teams, we just aren't official. It's OK though, my mom's entire family has a team, called the "Spaghetti Gang." They participated last year because my baby cousin Mark was fighting cancer. Although he died in Dec., its still a good way to help others and remember that so many participated to help him.
ALSO- for those of you who like to stay out late and complain that there's nothing to do because everything is closed, I went last year from somewhere between 6 and 8 pm till about 2-3 in the morning. There were activities going on the whole time. It was great. Think about it, and come June, if anyone is looking for something to do, u give me a call. Alrighty then!

Ahhh...Aren't strip clubs great?!? I love them and I am very addicted to them. Naked men are funny!

Penis Overload
To wrap up my spring break experience 2004, I hung out at Emily's on Friday to make up for a long week of sitting around relaxing (AKA doing nothing). I had some beers and it was a good time. What am I saying, you people (or most of you) know this from being there.
On Saturday, Rachel Lowe, Emily, Diane, and myself went to "Boxers and Briefs," a male strip club just south of here. Diane's friend Brittney (sp?) from Holiday Inn came too. For those of you who were there, this is all review but I want it well documented.
We were prepared to see penis. And so we did. Plenty. We also purchased Emily a personal lap dance on the stage by my personal fave "Christian" to the remix to "Ignition." Happy Birthday Emily. Some of us got little lap dances, but Rachel Lowe and I didn't really want to be licked, or BITTEN for that matter, by strange naked men. The scenery however was very delightful and entertaining. I must say, bravo Diane, on the key night of my spring break and making it a fun one.

I want to thank Diane, Laura, Rachel, and Brittany for the best birthday yet!! :) That was freakin great! I hope to go again, esp when we are all 21! It's Finally Over
So, Ryan and I broke up last night.
It was something that needed to be done, because it just wasn't working out. But it sucks, it doesn't feel like a stress has been lifted like I thought it would. I mean, I don't have to worry and try hard just to make things even OK between us, but now I feel as though all of my efforts have been in vain for the past 5-6 months or so. And in that time, as many of you know, I made myself crazy trying to make something work that, lets face it, just was not going to happen. I feel stupid, and embarrassed, and I have let myself down about a lot of things.....
I'm kinda mad, kinda sad, kinda relieved, but overall not feeling too well today, so we'll have to see about raquetball tonight Emily, I'll let u know. (possibly more later, maybe not)

Yes, I understand that I haven't been able to write much in the last couple of days.....Well its been longer than that, but give me some credit, I've been a lil busy here....After all of Steve's attempts to make me feel like I am a terrible person, and a terrible girlfriend, he still has the nerve to try to be my "buddy". I am not making this up to make myself look "better" or anything,,,that would just be sad. But he calls me like 6 or more times a day, trying to make all kinds of plans with me. After this past weekend, I felt kinda bad for him so I went out with him last night and saw a movie. I don't want him back,,,and all you guys have to keep reminding me!!!!!! Cuz I will just end up in the same spot I am in now.
I felt bad for him cuz I went down to Drury University friday night till saturday afternoon... I stayed with my brother and had a kick ass time at the fraternity house.... To my surprize, all the guys were hella nice to me! I thought they were gonna be total dicks and try to get in my pants, but they really weren't. This one hella hot guy was chillin with me for several hours,,playin on my team of bay route, and tellin me all the tricks of the game,,,,, he was super sweet,, and when all the other brothers started to show up and it started to turn into a big party his girlfriend showed up. He introduced us and she was hella cool too. Nice to know that there are still nice guys out there..... ok back to the point about how I felt bad for steve.... Yes, I drank a TON while I was done there,,,and some parts of the night are pretty blury... Steve called me the next day all pissed off at me...I had no idea what he was talkin about,,, He said that I called him and told him to come and get me,,,or some shit....then when he called back twice he got some guy that kept sayin shit like "leave us alone we are busy" "she doesn't want to talk to you she's busy havin a good time" Crap like that.... So I felt bad,,,but at the same time I think he might be making some of it up.... Besides,, my phone was in one of the frat bedrooms for most of the night,,, who knows what guys and girls where doin in there,,,so maybe some guy thought that it was another chicks cell phone and answered it.... Cuz at NO time did I want to leave that kick ass party... I also felt bad cuz I kinda hooked up with a frat guy down there,,,not like that,,,we just made out... no harm done,,,, what do you guys think???? was that bad of me to have a lil single fun in my life???? Does that make me a terrible person making out with some guy I don't even know,,,and not caring that there isn't a relationship there????? LET ME KNOW PLEASE.. Fat, Ugly Ohio State Hater
So.. the good news is, its a lot warmer outside today than it usually is in March, and I hope that we see a lot more of this weather.
But I got on the bus today to go to class and this freaking stupid guy starts (not shouting, but) saying loudly and repeating "OHIO STATE SUCKS, OHIO STATE SUCKS." And I ignored it. Then some more people got on the bus and so I turned around to walk back and give them space.... when the guy starts at it again. This time I make eye contact with the douche.
He's a fat, ugly, blonde guy who obviously thinks he is the shit. Trying to make all his little buddies giggle. I can hear him all the way to Peck. He's loud, obnoxious, and extremely annoying. But I again, ignore and say nothing.
Firstly, I am sorry if my t-shirt offends him in any way. I can wear whatever the hell I want. I donno if OSU plays some team that he likes and wins on a regular basis, or if OSU's teams suck or what. Actually I don't care. Megan went there last year, I had fun visiting, I bought a t-shirt and IM GONNA WEAR IT.
Its also entirely possible that this loser doesn't know how else to get the attention of girls. If this is his way of flirting, then he is an even bigger douche than I previously thought. And I know its entirely possible, because I know guys who use mocking and making fun of things girls like in order to start a conversation.
In fact, I think that's what my boyfriend does a lot (sorry if you read this Ryan). I mean, I KNOW he doesn't like a lot of the same things I do, but I also know that if he wouldn't say that stuff to be mean to me.... he thinks its fun, that's all. Because I always try to defend myself and we get a rise out of little stupid arguments apparently.
Anyways, it may seem like I am making a big deal out of nothing, but I just wanted to point out that today is one of those days when u realize God created people, animals and the world.... but he didn't forget at least 1 big douche.

Club Suck
Ok well I went to see Club Dread opening night and i don't know if i was with the wrong crowd but I didn't like it!! I knew I was hyping it up way too much. So next week when I get home we'll all have to go see it b/c I need to know if it really sucked or if it suck b/c of the people I was with.

Last night, after the play, I picked up my boyfriend after a fun night of drinking himself silly and apparently having a bit TOO MUCH fun, to put it nicely. He said if I came over to his apartment with him that it would be nice but I would have no fun cuz there's nothing for us to do, but it would still be nice. So I did. He was nice to me all night. It was the first time he really told me I was hot. HaHa. In fact, it took me almost 45 minutes to leave because he wanted to come home with me, or wanted me to stay. If any of this sounds normal to you guys, you must think about the fact that in the past 5 months I have not gotten treatment or statements like these, so it's something special when I do.... Even if he had been drinking (you can't be that drunk several hours after regurgitating it all up... haha). Yay me!

bobrauschenbergamerica was on last night at SIUE's Dunham Hall Theatre. Kate was in the play, so of course, I had to attend.... but the truth of the matter is, I probably would have gone anyways.
Props go to my roommate, who conquered the best, most entertaining scene in the whole play- Martini Scene. She put on a 50's bikini, with her platinum blond wig, danced around pouring fake vodka all over a big black tarp.... she put on the finishing touch- the olive, and then proceeded to use the giant martini as a slip 'n' slide.
The whole thing didn't really follow a plot.... there were tiny subplots with certain characters, but mainly it was just pure craziness and was, to say the least- extremely awesome. YAY bobrausch.

Ash Wednesday
Don't worry Diane you aren't the only one who has no idea of what's going on. After I left my church I went to the mall to pick Abby up from work and when I walked in some guy looked at me and asked if it was a real tattoo on my forehead.
In other news... I have found the color I'm going to paint my car. It is a mica blue, which means it's like a metalic but with pearls in it. It is kind of dark, but very nice. Now I just have to decide when I'm going to get it done.

Ok, so, its Ash Wednesday. Well I've never been quite sure of what it was. Yes, I am catholic but I don't practice. Anyway, my floor and I were sitting around eating and I saw a group of three people with dark stuff on their forehead. I thought it was like a sticker or something so i just ignored it. Then, I kept seeing more people with this "sticker" on their forehead. I thought that was funny too b/c if it was a sticker wouldn't they put it on other places like their cheek or shirt. So, finally, I decided to say something about all these people with stuff on their forehead. So now my floor is making fun of me and I am a dumb blonde. The lesson...when you see a "sticker" (upclose a cross) on people's forehead it has to be...ASH WEDNESDAY!!

Goodbye, Maddie and Bella
Today around 12:30, Kate and I got the kitties into the car and drove to Alton. We stopped by my house first to drop off a few things, and to introduce the kitties to my brother and dad. James even petted Maddie, and thats surprising because he hates cats b/c he is allergic to them... I guess no one can resist a kitty tho.
Bella was so afraid of the car.. she meowed and sat on Kate's lap the whole time. Maddie explored the Corsica- she wasnt afraid of ANYTHING.
When we arrived at the mall, they tried to get away from us as we walked inside. Once we got inside, you could tell they were scared. Maddie clung to my shirt and we met Tasha.... the lady who took the kitties. She seemed really nice and reassured us that she would not let harm come their way and that people have been looking to buy kitties and so they will probably get new homes really quickly. As soon as I was able to pry Maddie off of my shirt, we placed them in their cage and left.
I'm sure they'll be happy in their new home. And Tasha took Kate's name and # down so she could call us if they weren't gone within 3 weeks. Everything is going to turn out just fine.
But when we got home, things were out of place that the kitties were playing with... they were not there to greet us as they usually are, and the apartment seems so empty. We can now open the shade, eat wherever we want, and not have to worry about scooping poop, BUT- Excuse me if I am a weenie, I already miss them terribly and my eyes are swelling up with tears. I just want to hear one of them meow so I can pick them up and set them on my lap. All I can think of is the scared look on Maddie's face when they took her away....

Also, tomorrow I am taking the kitties to Pampered Pets at Alton Square and they are going to take a look at Maddie and Bella. They may take them and try to sell them to a good family. If they won't take them, then its off to the 5A's. But if they are at the mall, I can come by and see them everytime I come home for work. I will miss those damn things.
what does it all meeeeaaann?
I have asked myself this question one too many times during the past, oh almost half a year now. But what DOES it all mean? If two people meet, and decide that they like spending time with one another---- then why don't they? And why don't they both show equal interest? And why does one of them try to appreciate the other's personality while not getting the same sort of understanding as the other? I don't think life should be about the questions. I think people should have fun and go do their thing. And if his or her fun does not involve that person's "special one" then maybe that person isn't so special to him ot her in the first place. I wrote a poem a while ago, and I showed it to Jen. She said not to post it, and though I really wanted to, I refrained. I do not know if it would be appropriate, or something I want other people to read, but if you particularly want to read it, IM me or persuade me to put it on the blog.
If I like someone, then I tend to try and find out what they like and give those things a chance. Maybe I won't have the same taste as them- but then again, maybe by not trying these things I am missing out on something I may really like. So I am making a CD for Ryan. He won't like anything on it. And I am also pretty sure that he won't even give half of it a chance..... He's like that. But let's hope for the sake of all that is good and gracious that he at least listens to it once before he breaks it and throws it away. Wish me luck.
