Mardi Gras!!!!!
I'm sorry to hear that lala, about the whole coffee thingy, at least you had fun though. Newaz, I woke up butt freakin early to go set up for the St. Louis Mardi Gras parade this morning. I wore tons of layers, but was still freezin my butt off b4 it started. It was so cool,,,,everyone was screamin their heads off for beads,,, and I had 3 guys flash me their man boobs for some beads,,so I HAD to give in and give em' some. I was lucky though, to only see one set of chick boobs,,ie a really big fat lady YUCK!!! But hey, at least is wasn't some beutiful chick that would have made me feel bad...I don't know how,,,so don't ask... There was one part you aren't going to believe!!! After walking for about a half hour I heard my name being called, and I'm like who the hell is that cory??? NO!!! It was ADAM and some of his friends,,,,WHAT THE HELL??!!!??? I know things haven't been the greatest for us in the last couple of months,,but I've been posting my away messages about the parade....He pry knew I was gonna be there,,but he didn't even call??!! Or im me at least sayin he was comin to st. louie.... I wanted to call him when I got to the pad and steve wasn't around,,,but I figured I'd pry look like an idiot callin him to chill with him tonight.... cuz obviously he doesn't want to be around me...But damn, that pisses me off so bad.... It really sux liking someone sooo bad who use to feel the same about you,, it sux even more knowing that the only thing that happened bad wise between us was we stopped talkin a whole lot last summer...Am I crzy for bein this upset about him not tellin me he was coming down here????
Military Ball Turnout
I... am a klutz. It appears that I do not know how to be a sophisticated woman.
The ball was a very formal event. We went with his frat brother Sarge (who is also in Army ROTC at SIUE), and his girlfriend Britannia. I wore my prom dress from Junior year, and I was worried (because I was told it was kind of an informal event) that it would be too fancy... but when I got there, everyone was wearing fancy prom dresses anyways. Well, except for those who had to wear their uniforms... and I must say, Ryan looked handsome in his. I wanted to make it look like my boobs were smaller than they are, and for more support, I duct taped my bra up and I think I may have even ruined it.
I know SOME dinner etiquette.... but come on. What direction must you really pass the water?!? Does it matter? What if I don't WANT water, and neither does anyone else on my side of the round table? Must I STILL pass it? I'm making a big deal out of this because that's exactly what happened with the coffee.... and I almost spilled it and knocked over my empty coffee cup as well.
The food was decent..... we had a salad an bread for starters, then we had green beans, rice with mushrooms in it, and this chicken stuff... covered in skin and filled with yummy mushrooms. Then we all got cheesecake afterwards. Not a fan of cheesecake but I thought I might be appreciative and eat the cheesecake.
We sat at a table where Ryan didn't know anyone so we pretty much sat in silence the whole time. (There was assigned seating.) There was this whole formal deal about bringing in the flags, saying a prayer, congratulating the graduating senior class, listening to speeches, and other ceremonial stuff. Then they took the flags away and the formal dinner became an informal dance. We didn't stay for that though. Ryan doesn't dance, trust me, unless he's drunk. But I didn't mind. I was kinda tired. I met all of his commanding officers or whatever, and they all seemed pretty nice.
The military isn't for everyone, and definitely not for me. I couldn't handle it. Formal dinners are fun if they are romantic, and you and your date thoroughly enjoy yourselves..... but I just tried hard not to embarrass my date, even though I stepped on about 3 girl's dresses (THEY GOT IN THE WAY MAN!@!!!!)

the SODA thief!!!!
Ok so... I have been drinking lots of water lately.... and not so much soda. Before work, I saw a Cherry Pepsi sitting in the fridge that I had forgotten I had, and had every intention of taking it to work with me.
I forgot to take it to work, but did not turn back because I just figured that I would have it when I got home. Well, when I got home and I was going to the fridge, I saw an opened bottle of Cherry Pepsi sitting on the coffee table. 3/4 empty. NOT EVEN HALF!!!!
So it's sitting there taunting me, and I think- well, it is mine (I checked the fridge, it was), I should drink what's left of it! I, however, am still somewhat peeved about the soda thief because it has been sitting there and no one has touched it for so long... why now?. PLUS-Erika does not take other people's things without asking- so it must have been Kate. This is not a case of one person just taking my soda. Kate doesn't even LIKE soda. AND SHE DIDN'T FINISH IT! She left it there for me to stare at, wishing that I could have tasted the cherry fizzyness that is my cherry pepsi.
By the way, what was left of the contents was extremely flat, so I ended up dumping it. What a waste!!!! I'm going to have to label my precious caffeine from now on.
Those of you who think I am overreacting may be right. But don't drink something you don't even LIKE when you know damn well it belongs to a roommate who can't live without it. Be considerate, that's all I ask. Goodnight to you.

Judge Judy makes me feel good...
Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I get the privledge of watching a number of court cases on tv such as: Texas Justice, Judge Joe Brown(my fave), that other black judge...i can't think of his name...and Judge Judy. Man, she is a huge biznitch!! Watching her makes me feel so good! All day she gets to tell stupid m-fers how stupid they really are! Thats what I want to do. I'm only 60% slutty. I thought I'd be more. I'm sluttier than 81% of the world and cleaner than 18%. But that cleaner thing is a lie. I'm a very clean person. I use baby wipes when i go poo and wash my hands after I use the bathroom or touch a door knob. I also will open a public bathroom door with a paper towel so i don't get germs!! This coming Friday, I am to attend a military ball with Ryan. It’s supposed to be really boring but you know I make sacrafices. Plus he says he would go with me if it were my thing, and I appreciate the time I do get to spend with him. I am going to wear my prom dress from junior year. Still looks cute! (I tried it on last week) It is kinda fancy, and this is kind of a formal ordeal, but I want to look cute. I thought I'd just not do anything fancy to my hair and then everything would balance out.
By the way Kevin, I thought you were getting a new car.... but I like black personally. Remember.... red cars seem to be bad luck with crashes. My mommy told me that (take this from the woman who had several crashes at the same post office in one week.)

How'd It Go??
So Diane and Cory came down on Friday night and met some of the AKLs, including Ryan. It was fun, all we did was sit at one of their apartments and drink 'n' stuff.
Valentine's Day went wel.. Ryan picked me up at 5:30 and we headed out to eat. When we arrived at the Olive Garden, there was a 2 hour and 50 minute wait... so we put his name down and went across the way to the St. Clair Cine and saw the Butterfly Effect. When we got back to the restaurant, we waited a grand total of about 2 minutes and they had a table for us. The servece was good, food was quick, food was really yummy. Everything seemed to be going well. On the way home we argues about music as we so often do, but thats routine. We went to his apartment and watched some TV and I came home and went to sleep cuz I didn't get much the night before.

Valentine's Day went wel.. Ryan picked me up at 5:30 and we headed out to eat.
