This fantabulous Web site has been a friend of mine since Cougar Village when I looked up all the haunted places in Illinois. It got me excited about Eastern because Pemberton Hall is listed as a place. Alton wasn't mentioned as many times is as needed, but it makes sense because the entries are written in by readers.
Now for the famous part-
If you'll kindly look up Ashmore (it is in alphabetical order) you will see that they do updates on all the places listed- and months after I wrote an article concerning it THEY LINKED ME!!!
So if you haven't read my article, you should. And if you don't I know crazy ghost fanatics in the area might. My sisters called me tonight asking me where it was cuz they had read my article and wanted to go out there. God I'm famous.

Check it out man, Six Flags St. Louis is listed as a haunted place- by three specific ghosts- on of which is actually named Pigman who roams the back service roads at night. PIGMAN'S REVENGE!!! Suddenly that hayride doesn't seem so stupid after all.
OH Shit and one more thing. Haunted houses here are sending me free tickets to go review their shit. HOLD ON BABIES ITS GONNA BE A FUN RIDE THIS OCTOBER!!!!! If I don't die from extreme happiness that is.
