So life is back to normal, now that my vacation's over. Well, for the most part.
It turns out The Telegraph is even cheaper than I previously imagined. They're getting ready to offer ppl with a lot of seniority buyouts-- and they're hiring NO ONE in their places. Did I mention if people don't take these buyouts, the highest paid employees will start getting laid off? I'm not in danger of getting laid off, because I work for cheap and it would cost too much to replace me (which they would have to since I am both a reporter and a designer). I might, starting in a few weeks, be moved from Sunday-Thursday and designing two nights to Monday-Friday and designing only on Mondays. That could be good. More day shifts. Course I'd still be covering vacations on the design side.
Anyway, I'll update more on my vacation and on my current situation at home and work when I get more time. Volleyball starts in 20 minutes. (Which Norb's now pays for, so its free!)
One last thing--David is wonderful, and he and I have never been happier. Yay for me!
More l8er.
