My ADVISER told me to chill out

With all the time on my hands, I always seem to find something to freak out about. Weeks ago, it was graduating on time.I wrote my adviser, who is the journalism dept. chair, a 1500-word e-mail about it. He wrote back:

Laura, don't panic. I checked your file again and you're still good to go.

Very nice, reassuring. Something to bring a smile to my face right before bed.

This place reminds me everyday that I wish it was Halloween. Feels like fall, save for the heat of course- but everything is so dry, the leaves are falling off the trees. My dad told me it poured like a bitch last night. It did not rain one fraction of an inch here. I felt sprinkles as I walked to my car this morning, so maybe it will hit us today. Hopefully not before I get out to the Mercer County Fair and grab me a carnie or two to interview. Haha.

Not much new, off to work.
